The Green’s Windmill Trust (the Trust) is a registered charity responsible for the operation of the Green’s Windmill and Science Centre. It works to preserve the heritage of the mill and promote George Green’s reputation, along with the activities of the windmill and science centre.
Green’s Windmill Trading Company Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Trust and carries out the buying and selling activities of the Trust.
This policy combines the requirements and obligations of the Trust and the Trading Company and refers to both as the Trust.

The Trust does not obtain personal information from other sources.
How the Trust uses the information
This depends upon the nature of the interaction.
Membership – in order to advise members of membership benefits and obligations and contact them regarding these
Volunteers – in order to operate the Trust e.g. by advising dates of meetings, giving of notices, providing information about activities, seeking help for activities from time to time,
Booking and Purchasing – to ensure that the reservations for events are honoured and any problems advised and in the case of purchasing that the right goods are collected by the right person.
Contracting – In the case of the Trust uses the information to manage the contract and/or service.
The Trust never sells, rents, shares or discloses users’ information to third parties for marketing purposes.
The Trust will not share or disclose users’ information unless required to by law or for purposes other than providing our services.
Third Parties
Where the Trust uses the assistance of any third party for its activities and where personal information may be involved, the Trust investigates whether the third party is GDPR compliant.
