'Will for the Mill' - Legacies Fund

A Lasting Difference

Green’s Windmill Trust have established Green’s Windmill and Science Centre as a popular and well-loved visitor destination in Nottingham. Home to 19th Century ‘mathematical miller’ George Green, we further the educational and public activities of the science centre, promote Green’s scientific reputation and help preserve the UK’s milling heritage. Over 20,000 people visit annually to discover how grain is turned into flour, experiment in the centre with electricity and magnetism, and explore the award-winning community garden. We host around 150 community events each year and engage with approximately 1500 pupils through our school educational programme.

To do this we rely on grants and donations, so to make a lasting difference please consider pledging to our Will for the Mill Legacies Fund.

Unrestricted gifts enable us to allocate funding to areas where the need is greatest. This could be to fund the activities programme, maintain our historic building, help with running costs, or fund a new project. We welcome gifts of any size which over the long-term will support our charity.

Your legacy would ensure we remain open, continue to offer an exceptional heritage and educational resource, and secure a future in which we inspire the next generation of scientists, mathematicians, artists, historians and gardeners.

If you remember us in your Will, please let us know so we can thank you and keep you up to date with our work. We will happily acknowledge any gift given to our Legacies Fund, but if you would prefer to remain anonymous, please let us know.

To begin the process of leaving your gift please see this document ‘Incorporating the Legacy in your Will’.
