Pizza Parties
Each child will make their own delicious ~7” pizza. Starting with mixing the basic ingredients they’ll form their own dough, then they’ll roll out the base and choose from a selection of toppings before it is cooked in our large oven.
Bread Baking + Science Parties
Each child will make a small, tasty bread. Starting with mixing the basic ingredients they’ll make their own dough before shaping it into any creation of their choosing! Afterwards, they’ll become scientists, experimenting with erupting volcano bottles and cola fountains. Meanwhile the bread will be baked in our large oven.
Biscuit Baking + Science Parties
Each child will make their own scrumptious chocolate chip shortbread biscuits. Starting with dry ingredients, they’ll form a dough to roll out and then choose from a selection of cookie cutters to turn their dough into shapes, such as farm animals or stars etc. Afterwards, they’ll become scientists, experimenting with erupting volcano bottles and cola fountains. Meanwhile the biscuits will be baked in our large oven.
Pizza parties fill the maximum time. Baking bread or biscuits takes less time, so the remaining time is filled with science experiments.
Additional Information
Our parties last approximately 2.5 hours with the last 30 minutes allocated to eating, singing happy birthday etc. Each party includes use of the party room, all baking ingredients, cooking materials, bowls, plates, cutlery, squash, decoration of room, and time of staff & volunteers. They also include time in the interactive science centre and two gifts for the birthday child from the mill shop. We can accommodate a maximum of 15 children. Parties can start anytime between 11am – 1pm. The cost of the parties is £160. We require a non-refundable £25 deposit to secure a date. This can be paid in person by cash, card or cheque, or you can mail a cheque. Please make all cheques payable to ‘Green’s Windmill Trading Company Ltd’. Alternatively, if you would like to pay online, we can provide an invoice containing the BACS information. Until we receive the deposit your date remains provisional.
Please note: we need to know of any allergies or dietary requirements in advance so we can plan accordingly.
We cannot provide any additional food to what is being baked, but you are welcome to bring your own nibbles and birthday cake if desired.

Party Bags
Green’s Windmill party bags made up of educational activities and windmill souvenirs are available to buy, please let us know when booking your party if you would like these. The cost is £4 per party bag, which contains: three activity sheets (windmill colouring sheet, dot to dot, wordsearch), four crayons, a wristband, a badge, bubbles, a mini windmill and story book.
The Windmill
Due to the windmill building requiring extensive repair work there is currently no access to this part of the site. The work is due to be completed by November 2026.
